Swiss Decaf Kona
Swiss Decaf Kona
Ever wondered how caffeine is removed in decaffeinated coffee?
The decaffeinating process occurs before roasting, when the coffee bean is still green. The three most common ways to remove caffeine is through use of
- methylene chloride
- ethyl acetate.. or
- the Swiss water method.
But Why Decaffeinate Kona Coffee?
Some of our customers mix decaf half-and-half with regular Kona Coffee to reduce caffeine. It’s great for after dinner if caffeine affects your sleep. If you’ve tried decaf and didn’t like the flavor, ours will not disappoint. It's all the rich Aloha taste you love — but without the caffeine. Enjoy!
